After much consideration, I planned to update my blog at least one or more posts in a month. Hopefully at least I update once a month la.
What happened recently in our beloved country, Malaysia? As you all know, fuel price had once dropped from the initial RM2.30 per litre to RM2.15 per litre. It's not a drastic drop actually. Many people would prefer it to be the original RM1.92 per litre as the worldwide crude oil dropped to nearly US Dollar 60-70 per barrel. Well, that won't happen anyway.
What's next? Food price decreased due to the oil price decreased. Even so, the price doesn't show any significant decrease. Read this
news.
Today, I went to Carrefour for a check out in their goods. Carrefour's management ridiculously showed "Promosi"(If some noob people doesn't know what "Promosi" is, it means Promotion.) on most of their highly priced rice.
Ridiculously placed dropped price
goods as Promotion Item.
I mean the price for the Sunwhite rice is around RM50 and it dropped a mere RM1.01 following the orders from the Federation of Malaysian Consumers Association to reduce the price of rice from RM0.20 per Kilogram. This proofed that Carrefour did a great job on following orders. My foot!
And also, it ridiculously stated 2 packs per family per day only. This is utterly ridiculous! Who the hell would buy 2 packs per day just because the price had dropped a mere RM2? This shouldn't be listed on Promotional item nor limit customer to purchase how many of them.
By right, the price of rice should return to the original price of roughly RM25-30 per pack of 10KG high grade rice.
The vegetable in Carrefour also caught my attention. They are selling corns collected from a garbage bin. These corns will cause the chickens to die from food poisoning once it consumes these corns.
Look at how old is these corns. I can't imaging people would actually buy all this shit to eat. They will die immediately once they eat it.
Who would actually buy these shit and eat?
I had no surprise on our Malaysia's food industry. Compare to Singapore, if the officer checked that even a single leave of vegetable is not fresh they would immediately recall and destroy these vegetable.
We lived in Malaysia ma. Malaysia Boleh, Semua Boleh. Boleh land! Lulz.
~Peace~
